What information is needed to approve a windbreaker ventilation design?
Approve the ventilation design against the intended activity, wind exposure and garment layering. Identify the size and location of vents, mesh panels and any protective overlaps, then review airflow and comfort on a worn sample. Check that openings remain functional during movement and are not blocked by pockets or linings. Ventilation openings should not be presented as proof of waterproof protection.
