How should brands approve shrinkage and twisting in a T-shirt sample?
Approve the washed T-shirt sample against an agreed care procedure and measurement specification. Record body length, chest width, sleeve dimensions and side-seam alignment before and after washing and drying. Review twisting as well as dimensional change. Any pattern allowance or fabric change should be confirmed before approving the next sample; do not use a single shrinkage limit for every knit construction.
